As IT Auditor in the team, you will report to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) who reports to the IT Chief Auditor (CA) who has the global responsibility for Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure audit.

You will work in internal audits primarily in the areas of IT Architecture, outsourcing to cloud service providers and IT Infrastructure service providers. You will identify unmanaged IT risks and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to IT Infrastructure services within Technology Data & Innovation (TDI).

Your key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and execute internal IT audits, including audits at external service providers. Work as a specialist in audits of other colleagues within the Group Audit function
  • Work in collaborative audits of cloud service providers together with internal audit departments of other companies from the European regulated financial services industry. Regular interaction and collaboration with IT audit teams from industry peers
  • Responsible for the quality management of the executed audit tests and documentation of other auditors
  • Work within the global Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure audit team, and specialists/other teams to deliver front-to-back audit coverage of relevant IT Infrastructure services and related risks
  • Contribute to risk assessments and support regular updates of audit plans and approaches. Present complex, technically advanced and confidential matters such as observations, deficiencies and findings clearly, encompassing and professionally

Your skills and experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience in Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics (STEM) subjects or comparable professional education with a focus on IT
  • Professional experience in IT Infrastructure/IT Operation, (system/database/network administrator, system programmer or application developer)
  • Ideally professional experience as an IT auditor. Professional certifications in IT auditing, IT Infrastructure management or IT Security welcomed
  • Experience with IT organisational frameworks (like Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or IT control frameworks (like Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) and applying this knowledge as basis for evaluation of controls implemented in TDI
  • Experience with implementation of regulatory control requirements related to IT Infrastructure for the regulated financial services industry
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills required. Capability to communicate effectively at all management levels also in challenging situations. German/further languages skills an advantage
