Epworth Freemasons, one of Victoria’s leading maternity hospitals, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Midwives to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne.

We are recruiting for Part time or Full time positions as Registered Midwife to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
• Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
• Ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Role-modeling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and families.
• Continuously enhancing your skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.

What We’re Looking For:

• AHPRA Registration as a midwife (essential).
• Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward.
• A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
• A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families
