Busy Bees at Crace is a warm and welcoming service with a licensed capacity of 142 places, offering thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces that inspire curiosity and creativity. Located in the heart of Crace, our purpose-built centre supports children from birth to school age, with passionate educators and a strong sense of community.

About the Role
As a Centre Director, you will:

• Lead, inspire and develop your team to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families

• Oversee daily operations, enrolments, and staff rostering

• Manage budgets, compliance, and reporting requirements

• Maintain strong relationships with families, the local community, and regulatory bodies

• Drive continuous improvement through the National Quality Framework and EYLF

• Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and accountability

What You’ll Need

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director

• In-depth understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and compliance standards

• Strong leadership, financial, and people management skills

• Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) – ACT

• Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates

• Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training

• Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or appropriate visa)

• Relocation Support: Up to $4,000 (refundable) for candidates relocating from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane
