Busy Bees at Crace is a warm and welcoming service with a licensed capacity of 142 places, offering thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces that inspire curiosity and creativity. Located in the heart of Crace, our purpose-built centre supports children from birth to school age, with passionate educators and a strong sense of community.

About the Role
As a Centre Director, you will:
Lead, inspire and develop your team to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families
Oversee daily operations, enrolments, and staff rostering
Manage budgets, compliance, and reporting requirements
Maintain strong relationships with families, the local community, and regulatory bodies
Drive continuous improvement through the National Quality Framework and EYLF
Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and accountability
What You’ll Need
A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director
In-depth understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and compliance standards
Strong leadership, financial, and people management skills
Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) – ACT
Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training
Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or appropriate visa)

Hourly salary: $43.99 – $49.43 per hour (negotiable)
Quarterly BEEs Bonus eligibility for Centre Directors
Relocation Support: Up to $4,000 (refundable) for candidates relocating from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane
