As part of the Visa Sponsorship Program, we hereby provide this notice of the filing or yet to be filed Applications for Alien Labor Certification for various positions for Certified Laboratory Scientists “CLS”.

JOB TITLE: Certified Laboratory Scientist "CLS"

JOB DUTIES: Perform laboratory testing, quality control measures, distribution of test results of biological specimens in an accurate & timely manner;

Adhere to laboratory quality control policies;

Document all quality control activities, instrument & procedural calibrations and maintenance;

Actively participate in departmental process improvement; Adhere to turnaround time (TAT) guidelines for STAT & routine tests; Empathize with patient & patient support; Express compassion and demonstrate care appropriate for age, cultural, religious, gender identity or ethnic background; Identify & troubleshoot issues that may adversely affect tests or reporting of test results; Correct problems or immediately notify Director/Manager/Supervisor;

Follow laboratory procedures for handling & proper disposal of specimens, reagents & biohazard waste; Accurately process tests, reports & maintain patient test results;

Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.

RATE OF PAY: $44,762 per year or $21.52 per hour (8 hour shifts). This prevailing wage rate is valid 3/31/2025 to 6/30/2025. The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor and/or the union bargained for minimum wage agreement.
