Job Title: Controls Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Controls Engineer capable of leading projects and developing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project management, advanced PLC programming, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems. Experience in robotics and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is a plus, though not required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Manage and drive engineering projects from concept to completion.
• PLC Programming: Design, develop, and implement PLC programs starting from scratch.
• HMI Development: Create and integrate HMI solutions to optimize system performance.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with plant floor teams and interface with customers to resolve technical challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree required (technical degree preferred).
• Some Capital project experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting. experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in PLC programming and HMI system development.
• Preferred background in robotics and DCS, although this is not mandatory.
• Prior experience in high-speed manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
