Surgical Staff Nurse - Orthopaedic Ward (Band 5)

Location: Guernsey

Salary: £38,744 - £49,970 per year

Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Pulse is delighted to be working with the Channel Islands largest provider of health care services.

Being part of a 15- 18 bedded trauma ward and a 9 bedded elective unit, while supporting the Orthopaedic Pre-Assessment Clinic. The Orthopaedic staff rotate between the two wards to allow for their ongoing training and development.

Working with a diverse range of orthopaedic trauma patients including: spinal injuries, upper and lower limb fractures, and back pain. Within the Orthopaedic Pre-Assessment unit, including: elective joint replacements.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration
• Experience in surgical or orthopaedic wards
• Competence in wound care, post-operative monitoring, and pain management
