About the Role
JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting several Hide Plant Labourers to join our Hide Processing Plant in a full-time capacity. We welcome applications from all current Australian Visa holders (including backpackers and working holiday makers) and offer long term training, development and sponsorship opportunities for those looking to stay in Australia for an extended period of time.

We operate a rotating shift roster. You will work:

• Day Shift: 5am to 3pm (6-day rotating roster | Monday to Saturday)
• Afternoon Shift: 3pm to 11pm (5 days per week | Monday to Friday)

+ Lots of opportunity for overtime!

As a Hide Plant Labourer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting hides for defects
• Folding and weighing hides ready for palletising
• Stacking hides on pallets

 
About You

• Ability to conduct physical work
• A desire to work within the meat industry
• Be comfortable working within a food production environment
• Be comfortable handling raw meat and animal bi-products
• Willingness to learn and perform labouring duties
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced, manual handling and labour-intensive environment
• Willing to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Must have Australian working rights

 
To be considered for any of these roles, you will be required to undertake a physical medical assessment as well as drug and alcohol testing.
