About Tracer

Many scientists struggle to debug broken bioinformatics pipelines they use for research, slowing down the velocity of new scientific breakthroughs like drug development, that could help millions of people. To fix this, we're building an advanced observability platform for high‑performance computing. Backed by $3M in funding from top investors and located in the heart of London, we're assembling a founding team to accelerate. Ready to make an impact?

About The Role

As our first Product Marketing Manager, you'll define how Tracer tells its story. You’ll build the messaging, content, and feedback loops that make every founder-led sales call sharper, and help us convert demos into deals.

You’ll operate at the intersection of product, sales, and engineering—owning everything from positioning new features to enabling outbound campaigns. Ideal for a technical storyteller ready to shape GTM from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own positioning, messaging, and sales assets for all key features and launches

  • Shadow calls, identify friction, and drive iterative improvement to decks, docs, and demos

  • Build a repeatable narrative engine: value props, objection handling, one-pagers, battlecards

  • Translate technical capabilities into crisp benefits across ICPs

  • Coordinate with design, growth, and founders to drive demand and conversion

  • Keep the feedback loop tight: turn sales conversations into insight, and insight into impact

Skills & Experience (required)

Required:

  • 5+ years B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally in developer tools or infrastructure

  • Experience as first or early PMM—comfortable building systems while executing

  • Exceptional messaging and writing skills: you translate technical features into compelling narratives

  • Hands-on operator who's improved win rates through sales call insights and rapid iteration

  • London-based or willing to relocate (we believe in-person collaboration drives faster learning)

Nice-to-haves:

  • Personal projects or writing that demonstrates your marketing craft

  • Background marketing to FinOps, DevEx, enterprise, cybersecurity, life sciences or related personas

Team you’ll tag-team with

  • Founders Laura & Vincent – close the deals; you arm them with precision ammo

  • VP Engineering John – technical sparring partner for launches

  • Chief of Staff + Growth interns – keep outbound volume humming

  • Product Designer Paul – ensures UX sings while you craft the narrative

Who You’ll Work With

  • Founders (Laura & Vincent): You’ll arm them with crisp messaging to close deals faster

  • VP Engineering (John): Your technical partner for launches and deep dives

  • Product Designer (Paul): Makes the UX sing; you make it sell

  • Chief of Staff (Arne) + Growth interns: Scale outbound and content volume

🔗 Meet the team

Portfolio Submission (Required)

  • All CVs are reviewed by the founders

  • Initial call with talent (30 min)

  • Intro call with founders (30 min)

  • Take‑home technical assignment

  • Technical interview (1 hour)
