Fin Design + Effects is on the lookout for a Recruitment Manager to join our People & Culture team!


As our Recruitment Manager, you’ll lead and refine our talent acquisition strategy across the studio, ensuring we attract and secure the best candidates to support Fin’s growth across all VFX disciplines. You’ll oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle – from partnering with department heads to define role requirements, to managing interviews, offers, and onboarding – all while shaping a positive candidate experience and strengthening our employer brand.


What You'll Do:

  • Own and lead the recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy intake to onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role needs, employment terms, and project priorities.
  • Advertise positions across internal and external platforms to attract top-tier VFX and creative talent.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate strong team matches.
  • Issue offer letters and contracts, and support smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for visa-related processes during recruitment.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and workflows in BambooHR and other systems.
  • Support continuous improvements in our hiring strategy and recruitment tools.

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in VFX, animation, or the creative industries.
  • Strong understanding of VFX roles, production workflows, and industry trends.
  • Skilled in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
  • Familiar with applicant tracking systems (especially BambooHR), Slack, and recruitment platforms.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment law and visa processes.
  • A proactive, people-first mindset and strong communication skills.
